It can happen to the best of us, trying to get something out the boot and the keys fall in as the boot slams or taking out a child or packages and forgetting to take the keys, and only realising once the automatic locking mechanism locks itself. What is our fault is if we do not have a spare set of keys as this could save a whole lot of hassle. You should always have 3 sets of car keys one for yourself one for your partner or spouse and a spare set kept in a safe place - that you know where it is.
